Job Summary:
The Inventory Control Supervisor is an essential position to execute all inventory control functions including: leading the cycle count team, research inventory discrepancies, month end reconciliation, yearly physical inventory, cycle count reporting, and driving continous improvements. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills as it relates to inventory accuracy and the impact on the overall business.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the cycle count team driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Inventory, and Productivity.
- Work with Finance and other departments as needed to ensure regulatory compliance to all external and internal standards.
- Utilize the MDI process to share progress and assist/coach with problem-solving inventory accuracy issues.
- Review and analyze daily and weekly inventory adjustments and changes.
- Support the preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly reporting of inventory control results and activities from the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Analyze and report on metrics and recommend ways to improve the inventory control function.
- Audit applications and processes to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze existing business processes and logic that impact inventory throughout the company through personal observation and user interaction.
- Develop new applications and tools as well as ad hoc and refreshable reports to help with root cause analysis or to streamline related processes.
- Perform data analysis and audits of operation processes, inventory movement analysis and other procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
- Must be flexible with start and end times that are communicated in advance that support Inventory Control best practices.
- Overlap with off-shifts and support training as needed impacting Inventory Accuracy.
- Meet performance expectations with limited supervision in accordance of standard work and in line with the unique dynamic of the Inventory Management team.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in Inventory Control, Quality, or Audit Service.

- Other responsibilities include but are not limited to resolving problems, completing audits, and identifying trends
- Timely response to emails, phone, or radio calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred. Will consider experience in lieu of a degree. High school diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in the integrated functions of manufacturing
- Experience operating warehouse equipment and any necessary certifications
- APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), preferred
- Strong computer proficiency & Microsoft Office required; Oracle preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to assess and prioritize needs
- Must possess sound interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
- Lean or Six Sigma Experience Preferred
- Experience with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments.
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.
- Experience with visual management systems.

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / year
