We are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor. Preference for those with a background in Warehousing and Logistics within a military medical system. Must be a US Citizen and live within 25 miles of Williamsburg, VA. We are not able to offer any sponsorship for this position.
Requirements
Scope of Work: The contract provides general warehousing services; maintains and repairs containers, biomedical equipment, and civil engineering equipment (CEE); produces Deployable Medical Systems (DEPMEDS) at The Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM), Cheatham Annex (CAX), Williamsburg, Virginia. The Quality Control Supervisor will operate independently from the local management with a direct line of communication to the corporate Quality Director. The Quality Control Manager is responsible for all aspects of the ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls and environmental programs. Therefore, the Quality Control Manager must have a minimum of seven years of experience performing quality control in a biomedical environment. Tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Generate, maintain, and review statistical performance information, highlighting areas that require inspection level changes to achieve compliance with company or customer standards
• Create and update Quality Control inspection forms to measure project performance relative to contract requirements
• Independently monitor and inspect contractual work functions to determine if existing conditions comply with established specifications
• Inspect equipment before, during, and after repair or maintenance to ensure compliance with appropriate specifications
• Prepare written and oral reports that detail discrepancies found during the inspection
• Coordinate correction of problems with section supervisors and department managers
• Maintain written and computerized record filing system of inspection results or surveillance conducted, with backup documentation
• Reply to customer complaints and inquiries and follow up with the applicable departments, customers, and government officials
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Three years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical, or other work related to the International Organization for Standard (ISO) 9001 program.
• Must possess the knowledge to maintain a quality management and environmental system in accordance with the applicable industry and ISO Standards as applicable.
• Must have a broad knowledge of Army logistical functions and applicable environmental policies, programs, and laws.
• Have the ability to analyze, develop, evaluate, advise, or promote improvements in logistical programs. • Must have the ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
• Must possess the appropriate verbal and written communication skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
• Ability to analyze, develop, evaluate deficiency findings, and advise on process improvements in logistical programs
• Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress
• Must have one year of experience in administrative, professional, analytical, or other work related to ISO ((9001)(14001)) programs or operations

• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation (SF-85)
