The Florida State Fair is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to manage all activities related to inventory control, maintaining operations by establishing inventory levels, receiving and verifying inventory and supervising staff. Normal hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Directly supervises one to five employees. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
High School or equivalent required. Some college courses or degree highly preferred. Five or more years of related work experience, particularly in an inventory control position or capacity. Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License, CDL a plus.

Duties are performed occasionally in an office setting. Operates computer and standard office equipment, such as telephone and copier/printer. Must have the ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, lift or move (more than 50 pounds), climb stairs, or balance on rare occasion. There is occasional exposure to environmental demands including wet/humid weather, working near mechanical parts and in high, precarious places on rare occasion. There is also exposure to fumes or airborne particles, possible toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme temperatures (non-weather).
