Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Compensation: $48,000-$52,000

Location: Chillicothe, OH

Position Overview: As a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Inventory Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our fleet of trucks before they are dispatched for delivery. You will oversee the inspection process, coordinate with various departments, and implement strategies to streamline operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections of trucks to identify any defects or issues.
• Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Develop and maintain inspection checklists and procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Monitor inventory of parts and supplies necessary for inspections and repairs.
• Communicate with drivers and dispatchers to schedule inspections and coordinate delivery timelines.
• Document inspection findings in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Implement quality control measures to minimize downtime and maximize fleet efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to staff members involved in the inspection process.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with inspection procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for documentation and reporting.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
