Data Entry Supervisor supervises the daily activities of operators of data entry devices who input records, lists or other data points into an electronic format. Responsible for directing and allocating work to staff, as well as monitoring and evaluating their work. Being a Data Entry Supervisor typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Entry Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.
