Data Management Director manages the planning, designing, and developing of an organization's databases. Develops policies and procedures to lead and manage a team of database engineers. Being a Data Management Director designs and modifies procedures to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of databases. Monitors and optimizes database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Additionally, Data Management Director evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future organizational needs. Provide for coordination of inventory control and related problem solving efforts within the assigned department. Act as on-site expert and trainer for Central Service Technicians and Controllers. Implement performance standards and measurements. Maintain tracking of standards and indicators. Identify product standardization opportunities and coordinate efforts to standardize through appropriate processes.
Responsibilities
• Assist management in developing departmental, team, and individual standards for inventory control and customer service in relation to inventory control. • Assist management in isolating the key indicators of the standards identified. • Identify shortcomings in departmental, team, and individual efforts to achieve standards. • Assist in the development of key indicator measurements and team and individual performance planner tasks. • Develop performance measurement tracking system and reports to show progress toward standards. • Assist management in development of training plan for Material Handlers/central supply employees. • Train employees in inventory control and customer service techniques. • Assist management in maintaining financial performance by costing monthly inventories at each division.

Education
• Associate's Degree (Required) Experience: 2 Years inventory control (material management or related) Substitution: High School plus 4 years related experience may substitute for Associate Degree plus 2 years related experience. Grandfathered: Anyone hired into this position prior to 12/3/17 is grandfathered into the current certification requirement.
