Data Management Director manages the planning, designing, and developing of an organization's databases. Develops policies and procedures to lead and manage a team of database engineers. Being a Data Management Director designs and modifies procedures to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of databases. Monitors and optimizes database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Additionally, Data Management Director evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future organizational needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Data Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Position Summary:


    The Director of Plant Operations/Emergency Management will direct and supervise the activity of the Maintenance Department, performing skilled maintenance repair, and construction duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hospital buildings, equipment, and hospital grounds. Manages safety-related documentation activities and forwards information to Safety Committee. Responsible for the implementation of emergency management operations for the hospital in conjunction with community response partners.
    Qualifications:

    REQUIREMENTS:


    Education:
    High school graduation or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management or closely related field preferred.

    Licensure:
    Current MS or other valid Drivers License with a good driving record. General Contractor or Certified Healthcare Engineer (CHE) Certification desirable.

    Experience:
    Minimum of five years’ experience working as a Director or Manager of a facility Plant Operations or similar functions. Previous hospital experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of State, Federal, JCAHO, OSHA and other regulatory standards.

    Additional Requirements:
    • Management skills with the ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
    • Able to develop and implement policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of applicable State and federal regulations and JCAHO standards.
    • Able to evaluate the performance of other staff members against the criteria in their job descriptions.
    • Ability to direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
    • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
    • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and shops equipment.
    • Able to evaluate other staff against the criteria in their job description.
    • Familiar with OSHA, JCAHO, and CARF safety and EOC standards.
    • Available for 24 hour on call responsibilities
