Data Management Director manages the planning, designing, and developing of an organization's databases. Develops policies and procedures to lead and manage a team of database engineers. Being a Data Management Director designs and modifies procedures to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of databases. Monitors and optimizes database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Additionally, Data Management Director evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future organizational needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Data Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Director, Product Management, Data Products is responsible for our core data products, which serve as the foundation for Data Axle's data business, as well as nearly all other solutions, services, and applications that the company offers. The Director, Product Management, Data Products will lead the product development lifecycle, conceiving and executing a cohesive product strategy in partnership with product, engineering, analytics, operations, sales, and marketing.

    Essential Job Functions: *

    1. Create, refine, and implement a strategic, long-term vision and roadmap for our data products.
    2. Identify, track, understand, and ultimately improve core business KPIs that ladder up to long-term success of the company.
    3. Develop powerful insights and recommendations informed by market research and data analysis.
    4. Build and present business cases that effectively articulate new ideas and ROI.
    5. Prioritize ruthlessly, and articulate and defend your product roadmap across business functions.
    6. Lead the implementation process end-to-end, including requirements definition, design, and development.
    7. Devise go-to-market plans for new data products and solutions, driving adoption and measuring impact on the business.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    1. Cross-functional leaderships skills, able to lead and partner with executives, product management, design, engineering, analytics, sales, marketing, and operations
    2. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    3. Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex strategies and insights across various levels and functions. You can articulate plans and resourcing needs to support your strategies.
    4. Highly data-driven with strong analytics skills, able to extract insights from large and varied datasets.
    5. Customer-focused with a passion for customer delight and quality of execution.
    6. Fluent in Agile software development methods with focus on human-centered design process
    7. A collaborative problem solver.

    Education, Experience, and Certification: *

    1. 10 years product management experience with a proven record of successful launches
    2. Domain expertise in B2B or B2C data products, solutions, and services
    3. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, business, or related field combining a solid technical foundation with business savviness
