Data Management Director manages the planning, designing, and developing of an organization's databases. Develops policies and procedures to lead and manage a team of database engineers. Being a Data Management Director designs and modifies procedures to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of databases. Monitors and optimizes database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Additionally, Data Management Director evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future organizational needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.   • We are seeking a Director to lead our team of Property Managers and Compliance Specialists. The Director of Property Management is a member of the leadership team and shares responsibility for the overall performance of our portfolio of properties throughout Maine.

    The successful candidate will have strong leadership background with the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. We are looking for a self-motivated and highly adaptable candidate with the ability to exercise sound and independent judgment.

    Essential Functions of the position

    · Oversight of Property Management & Compliance Staff; ensuring adherence to industry regulations, applicable state landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing and Non-Discrimination laws, Americans with Disabilities Act and Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing.

    · Oversee the performance, work load and work flow between multiple departments to include leasing, resident services and facilities.

    • Work closely with the CEO & COO to evaluate financial performance.
    • Conduct and facilitate regular team meetings, setting performance goals, and adjusting strategies as needed.
    • Inspects properties periodically for quality control
    • Direct leasing and occupancy protocols in order to ensure units are leased in compliance with Tenant Selection Plans and owner and agency expectations through collaboration with property management staff.
    • Oversee the flow and implementation of marketing, outreach and tenant referral strategies to secure prospective tenants and maintain knowledge of market conditions.
    • Enforce occupancy policies and procedures; ensure effective and timely resolution of tenant complaints and lease compliance issues

    Requirements/Experience

    • Property Management: 5 years (Required)
    • Supervisory Experience: 5 years (Required)
    • Knowledge of Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax credit, HUD, USDA Rural Development and similar housing programs
    • Strong Knowledge of the Fair Housing Act
    • Strong computer skills and experience with Real Page, Yardi, Boston Post of other industry software applications
    • This position requires strong written, oral and reading communication skills to accurately obtain, interpret and transcribe complex programs at all levels of the company
    • Travel to various sites is required
