Data Management Director manages the planning, designing, and developing of an organization's databases. Develops policies and procedures to lead and manage a team of database engineers. Being a Data Management Director designs and modifies procedures to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of databases. Monitors and optimizes database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Additionally, Data Management Director evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future organizational needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Data Management Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The tasks and responsibilities required of the Data Analyst are outlined below:

    • Analyze and Interpret Data to determine patterns & trends.
    • Assist with developing reports and presentations on analytical findings.
    • Conduct reviews to determine patterns, correlations, and causations of changes in reporting data.
    • Review data and generate accurate on-time reports including weekly and monthly KPIs
    • Run additional requested reports as needed for other departments or locations.
    • Adhere to SOPs and processes that support Company and departmental standards.
    • Conduct labor performance reports on a consistent basis.
    • Craft ad hoc reports as requested provide business insights in an understandable way that allows for efficient action of discovered improvements.
    • Storytelling by using a variety of company tools & effectively blend data into summary reports that create knowledge and awareness of opportunities.
    • Reconcile data & recommend &/or create solutions for appropriate data clean up to ensure accuracy.
    • Build reports that allow for trend analysis in excel.
    • Manage the handling of miscellaneous administrative tasks & assist other teams with work as assigned.
    • Interacts with vendors to represent company interests in acquiring the best possible value of equipment and services provided.
    • Responsible to perform all duties in a safe, clean and organized manner.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    The Skills and Qualifications required for a Data Analyst are outlined below:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in a technical field.
    • Tableau, Power BI, Smartsheet experience is a plus.
    • Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Data analytics: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Operational knowledge of distribution environment and WMS/LMS systems is a plus.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills; must be able to communicate and work hands-on with all levels of employees and interface with our customers systems groups as required.
