Data Management Director manages the planning, designing, and developing of an organization's databases. Develops policies and procedures to lead and manage a team of database engineers. Being a Data Management Director designs and modifies procedures to ensure the performance, scalability, and security of databases. Monitors and optimizes database performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. Additionally, Data Management Director evaluates existing database design to determine necessary updates and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future organizational needs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Management Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Responsibilities:
· Document Control: Implement data management solutions, focusing on maintaining accurate and organized records.
· Technology Awareness: Stay informed about departmental technologies, processes, and services relevant to your area of responsibility.
· Interdepartmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between on behalf of the Sales and Quality Assurance teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
· Adaptability: Respond proactively to changing technology within your environment.
· General Office Support: Organize, manage, and distribute Quality Assurance, Sales, and Marketing documents as needed. Review and maintain company documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards.
· Organizational Skills: Prioritize multiple tasks effectively to see them through to completion.
· Effective Communication: Interact seamlessly with colleagues at all levels within the organization.
· Technical Proficiency: Possess a general working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems.
· Content Creation: Create and format internal documents, reports, and presentations. Assist in maintaining active digital files, including contracts, SOPs, OPLs, policies, and reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Keep team members informed of progress.
Requirements:
· Strong organizational skills

· Experience in creating and formatting internal documents

· Experience with Sage and SAP is preferred.
