    Responsible for leading a team that designs and documents operational and analytical databases.

    Develops and coaches' teams to be able to identify , manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, coach, and develop team members.

    • Report progress and status to management.

    • Support data management initiatives and enforce data management standards.

    • Partner with the business and technology teams to complete business initiatives.

    • Manages a team accountable for ensuring accurate and consistent usage of source data fields, business logic and APIs across channels. Drives resolution to data lineage problems.

    • Oversees creation and maintenance of end-to-end data lineage documentation.

    • Ability to understand complex business processes and technical infrastructure, including understanding how processes relate to underlying systems, and partnering with technology resources to ensure system compliance.

    • Supports validation of data transformations, complex business logic and calculations across enterprise source systems and customer-facing channels.

    • Responsible for implementing strategies and systems improvements to support business operations.

    • Identifies and analyzes opportunities, develop solutions, and control plans using Lean Tools.

    • Builds relationships with key product partners necessary to deliver project results, including identifying and breaking down barriers/obstacles, collaborating with key players to influence change.

    • Promote a risk-aware culture; Identify and evaluate controls to sustain processes and their improvements for the long term by adhering to required risk management standards and processes

    • Ensures data governance policies are followed by implementing and validating data lineage, quality checks, classification, etc.

    Minimum Qualifications

    At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field

    • 6 years of experience in Information Technology, or related field

    • In lieu of a degree, 15 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Analytics, Data Stewardship, Management, 5 years of work experience in leading a technical team with focus on project delivery, work experience in staff management (i.e., delegation, hire, fire, performance evaluations, mentoring, motivating, coaching, development, etc.).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field

    • 8 years of experience in in Information Technology, or related field

    Compensation:

    The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
