Data Management Specialist creates, implements, and maintains master data management solutions that enable users to optimize system capabilities. Uses knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse, and enrich master data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders. Being a Data Management Specialist provides data governance and ensures data integrity by coordinating data management efforts across the organization. Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes. Additionally, Data Management Specialist requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Management Specialist work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. Data Management Coordinator

  • Duties/Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with sales managers and their clients regarding Electronic Medical Record (EMR) custodianship agreements.
    • Build and sustain relationships with EMR vendors.
    • Communicate with EMR providers via phone and email.
    • Assist with tasks related to data management and coordination.
    • Develop and update extraction instructions for various EMR platforms.
    • Keep the EMR notes board updated with the most current information.
    • Facilitate the smooth transfer of records from a client’s EMR system.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
    • Exceptional time management demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines; adept at task prioritization and delegation when necessary.
    • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the capacity to listen attentively and resolve issues effectively.
    • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and associated software.
    • Demonstrated experience of working with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferable.
    • IT background, ideally with 3-5 years of experience.


    Physical Requirements:


    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Work must be performed onsite; telework ineligible.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
