This position provides accounting support to the company in; accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), account reconciliation and invoicing. Specifically;
· Preparing & recording deposit of customer payments
· Tracking daily cash/banking activity
· Communicating with customers regarding past-due invoices
· Monthly reconciliation of credit cards
· Monthly reconciliation of order-entry system to accounting system (QuickBooks)
· Monthly Sales Tax reconciliations
· Invoicing customers
· Ad hoc requests/projects
The qualified candidate will have at least High school degree and 3 years of accounting experience; associate degree in accounting or related field and at least 3 years of applicable experience preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel is preferred. Accounting software experience preferred. High level of self-direction and strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Ability to accurately and consistently follow established accounting-related routines and procedures.
