    Functions

    Provide organizational and analytical support to the Program Management Office as the liaison between the Company Program Management Team and department managers.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Because Eastern Shipbuilding is continually growing to meet the needs of our customers, the essential duties and responsibilities may be different than described.

    • Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
    • Ensure daily tasking is completed in accordance with Company Program Management and customer expectations.
    • Create and maintain detailed forecast schedules, tracking matrices, and reporting metrics to support Program Management in meeting Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables.
    • Direct and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables are submitted, controlled, and maintained in accordance with contract requirements and ESG standard operating procedures.
    • Analyze reports and create detailed plans of action for any CDRL deficiencies identified and review with project stakeholders to support the program’s objectives and schedules.
    • Maintain ESG’s Integrated Data Environment (IDE) for document storage and assist in managing its configuration with stakeholders.
    • Assist users in locating documents and finding solutions to streamline document sharing.
    • Create and monitor workflows to ensure data is properly reviewed, validated, and approved via the company’s IDE and provide status aging activity reports.
    • Conduct training on the data management systems and tools for internal and external customers.

    Supervisory Responsibilities: May directly or indirectly supervise the Project Analysts and Administrative Assistants assigned to the OPC Program. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.

    Reporting Relationship: This position will report to the OPC CDRL & Data Manager.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalence required; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in a senior analyst or senior administrative position with staff oversight desired. Prior experience in the USCG/DoD/US Navy environment and professional certification working with an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) software program/database is highly desired.

    Skills: Advanced level Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, professional documents, Company policies/procedures, and governmental regulations. Requires excellent written, oral, and presentation/communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, employees, government officials, and the public required. Ability to rapidly obtain, sort, filter, and analyze large volumes of data for distillation into high-level reports. Ability to work in a highly technical and fast-paced detailed design and construction program environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience managing and maintaining an IDE database is a positive.
