    What you’ll do

    The Data Analyst reports to the Senior Director of Data Solutions and works with other Data Solutions team members, as well as enterprise architecture and business stakeholders to drive insights across the organization.

    In this role, you will gather, analyze, and interpret data from various systems to discover insights and trends for strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will create reports and visualizations to effectively convey findings to stakeholders.

    Your Impact

    • Collect, clean, preprocess, and validate large datasets to ensure the accuracy required for reliable data products.
    • Maximize value of data assets by performing analyses needed to drive business decisions.
    • Utilize visual analytics tools to create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with senior analysts to develop and refine data models and algorithms.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Advance the data strategy by supporting data governance and management, through policy documentation, data security, data privacy, and data quality initiatives.

    What you bring to the table

    • 3 years of experience working with data to derive insights, produce visualizations, and report performance
    • Experience producing and publishing visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
    • Experience writing SQL queries to source data for analysis
    • Exposure to Python for data manipulation and analysis
    • Discipline to follow best practices to protect data security and data privacy
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
    • Attention to detail and drive to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability and initiative to find creative solutions to problems
    • Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to enhance skills
    • Confidence to ask questions when clarification is required

    Bonus points

    • Adobe Analytics implementation and reporting experience
    • Experience working with Snowflake
    • Experience analyzing diverse data sets: time series transactions, sales, web traffic, employee, financial, etc.
    • Strong Python programming skills
    • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and algorithms
    • Experience using JIRA or similar platform for team task management
    • Exposure to data governance processes
    • Comfortable adapting in an evolving environment

    Location

    This role is remote and can be located anywhere inside the continental United States. iSeatz is a New Orleans-based company with Central Time Zone business hours, but feel free to work from your home office, from the beach, or from the cottage you rented for the summer!
