Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide valuable insights and recommendations to drive business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ETL processes, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
Duties:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data analysis solutions
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation through data analysis
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analytics
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Experience with ETL processes and tools
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Familiarity with programming languages such as VBA is a plus
- Knowledge of Visio for process mapping is preferred
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
