Position Overview:As a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll play a vital role in our finance team, supporting critical financial processes and analysis within our food manufacturing division. You will analyze financial data, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic insights to drive decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Conduct financial analysis to support key business initiatives, including cost analysis, profitability, and forecasting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools.
Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights to optimize financial performance.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and perform ROI analysis.
Monitor manufacturing costs, analyze variances, and identify areas for improvement.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Maintain and enhance financial controls and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles is desirable.
