Provost & Pritchard is seeking an Environmental Scientist to serve as a Water Quality Specialist for various agricultural water quality regulatory programs. Candidates for this position should have a passion for water quality, regulatory compliance consulting, water policy, and the nexus with irrigated agriculture. The Environmental Scientist will be a technical consultant to multiple client types including agricultural organizations, nonprofits, public agencies, and others in Central California.
Support will be provided to project managers and clients implementing nonpoint source regulatory programs such as the Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program (ILRP), Central Valley Salinity Alternatives for Long-Term Sustainability (CV-SALTS), and other water regulatory programs such as the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).
