he objective of the Data Scientist is to drive actionable insights and inform corporate strategies through the use of advanced modeling, data mining, analytics, and market intelligence.

Strong Communication: Demonstrates strong communication skills with a basic understanding of project management principles.

Data Visualization: Ability to visualize data effectively on both simple and complex levels.

Data Analysis and Machine Learning: Proficiency in leveraging data, machine learning techniques, and statistical model frameworks to identify and create business opportunities.

Technical Data Proficiency: Ability to work with data using query languages such as SQL, R, or Python, and understanding of relational data and data tools

Coding Skills: Demonstrates the abilityto write production-ready code in Python or R. Knowledge of generative AI for coding is a plus.

BI Tools: Familiarity with BI tools such as PowerBI is desirable.

Inquisitive Mindset: Possesses an inquisitive mindset and a desire to delve into the details.

Collaboration: Capable of both independent work and collaboration within projects.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in data science related areas (statistics, applied economics, data science)
• 2 years of professional analytical experience preferred
• 2 years of P&C or Life/Retirement experience preferred
