Data Scientist identifies trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis to develop insights. Performs data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, implement data models, conduct analysis, and develop databases. Being a Data Scientist interprets results from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools. Collaborates with teams to understand each data analysis projects' underlying purpose, focus, and objectives. Additionally, Data Scientist designs, develops, and implements the most valuable data-driven solutions for the organization. May require a master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Data Scientist work is closely managed.     Summary:
    • $2,500 Sign on Bonus
    • Part-time, benefits eligible, 20 hrs/week, Evenings: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
    • MLS or MLT
    Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLSs) perform laboratory procedures and use independent judgement in the major areas of the laboratory like: blood banking, chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, or histology. By utilizing their expertise, MLSs demonstrate laboratory technical skills to other laboratory colleagues and healthcare professionals to support the delivery of high-quality patient care that supports the effective and efficient diagnosis and treatment of patient illnesses and conditions.
    Qualifications:
    Education
    Bachelor's - Required
    Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university including courses in biological science, chemistry and mathematics, AND successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) program OR MLT(ASCP) and bachelor's degree with 2 years full time lab experience in an accredited lab.

    Physician Practice - Educational/Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Sciences (including chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory) required.

    Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
    Medical Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist or eligibility for certification by a nationally recognized certifying agency such as
    ASCP, NCA, AMT, HEW or other laboratory certifying agency is required. Certification must be received within 180 days of hire.
