    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Data Analyst role is responsible for supporting all departments within the organization and distributing data to achieve department and organizational goals. This position will uphold AWP’s core values and mission of protecting our customers’ people, business, and time. This position will be involved in the development, implementation, coordination of all data across various departments and leadership.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Interpret data, analyze results using result-oriented techniques, and provide continuous reports to track progress; Maintain, monitor, and distribute over 100 reports monthly
    • Develop, design, and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality and create profitability for the organization
    • Deliver external reports to customers in the form of monthly scorecards, external system workforce reports, and all other customer operation requests
    • Lead the integration of Tableau Online as a reporting tool for our Executive team down to our Facility Managers; Tableau Online Admin – Create, manage, allocate permissions for all dashboards on Tableau Online
    • Create and deliver quarterly reporting for Board of Director data, and leadership presentations
    • Develop and make recommendations to executive leadership on company policy
    • Build and track bonus structures which will be a net benefit to AWP for operational managers
    • Track turnover utilizing our 25,000 employee records
    • Work directly with the holding company team; track historical and future trends in profitability
    • Collaborate with executive-level leadership to evaluate contract renewal implications, top customer metrics, and individual customer profitability
    • Respond to Ad-Hoc report requests promptly
    • Develop and maintain data integrity
    • Other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

    • Bachelor’s Degree required in either of the following fields: Finance, Analytics, Economics
    • 1-2 years’ Data analyst experience or analytics field
    • 2 years of Tableau experience, Tableau certification required or obtained within 1st couple months of employment
    • Salesforce or other CRM experience required
    • Experience with BI tools (UKG), SQL Service Management Studio, ATS software (i.e., Target Recruit), and Skyvia (or other ETL Tool) knowledge preferred
    • Advanced technical knowledge and extensive understanding of trends in the field of business
    • Demonstrated ability to contribute strategically by identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively within all levels of the organization
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, multiple priority shifts throughout the workday
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • High attention to detail and responsive to deadlines


    WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Employees must be able to successfully handle the physical demands of this position, which include the following:

    • Hours of operation are typically 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., M-F
    • Primarily sedentary or working at a desk
    • May occasional have to go into the field to interact with employees to gather information
    • Occasionally lift and move 10 -25 pounds
    • While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
    • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms
