Summary:

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team. We believe in creating value for our clients by solving complex challenges and delivering outstanding results. As we continue to grow, we are looking for an Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for ambitious individuals looking to start their career in business analysis and contribute to our mission of driving success through insightful analysis and strategic implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Data Collection: Gather data from various sources, which may include databases, spreadsheets, APIs, or external datasets.
• Data Analysis: Perform basic data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers within the dataset. Use statistical techniques to gain insights from the data.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and meaningful data visualizations, such as charts, graphs, and dashboards, to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Documentation: Help in documenting business processes, requirements, and project findings. Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports summarizing key findings and presenting them in a format that is easily understandable to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience: Previous internship or related experience in business analysis is a plus but not required.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Microsoft products and services, including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Power BI, and Azure. Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and technology landscapes.
