Data Security Director oversees operations of a team responsible for protecting data from unauthorized users. Develops policies and procedures for identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations. Being a Data Security Director may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Data Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Data Capture Operator is responsible for the accurate capture of the alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from electronic images and/or source documents according to the custom developed software application including repair of incorrect data resulting from OCR process (optical character recognition results).
