Data Security Liaison

Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

Preferred locations include: Louisville, KY; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Mendota Heights, MN; Richmond, VA; Grand Prairie, TX; and St Louis, MO.

The Data Security Liaison oversees the processes, policies, and standards organizations use to manage their data. This role is critical for ensuring that data is managed effectively, is accurate and accessible, and supports business decision-making. In this role, you will ensure that data privacy and security policies are in place and that the organization is in compliance with data protection regulations. This includes implementing data security measures, conducting security audits, and responding to security incidents.

How you will make an impact:

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Experience with ETL and BI tools, integration standards and protocols (e.g., SOAP, UDDI), and XML schema strongly preferred.

• Experience in health care industry strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of cloud security and governance functions is highly preferred.

• Prior experience implementing data privacy policies.

• Hands-on experience with data management, policy development, and compliance adherence preferred.
