    Position Summary:  The Data Security Specialist will be responsible for all end-user system access to Brevard Family Partnerships integrated systems: Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS)/Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS)/Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN), Prevention Services and Activity Management (PSAM), Tracking and Analytics for Children and Families (TACF), Brevard Electronic Court Application (BECA), Florida Power and Light (FPL), and Florida Medicaid Managed Information System (FMMIS). The specialist will be responsible for assisting new users and administrative assistants with the accurate completion and submission of the necessary security documents that are required for system access. This person will maintain files of all FSFN users and will be responsible for the timely deactivation of employees that resign or terminate. They will be the primary Point-of-Contact (POC)/Liaison with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Security Program Office. The Data Security Specialist will coordinate the Annual Security Awareness Training, track user completion, lock accounts that don’t complete the annual requirement and upload documents to Contentverse.  The Security Specialist will assist with the development of training with regards to the integrated systems. This person will be responsible for information security based on CIA- namely confidentiality, integrity, and availability.  The position will be responsible for protecting digital information from unauthorized access, corruption, or theft throughout its entire lifecycle. The Data Security Specialist may be required to assist the case management agencies with closing cases and approvals so that internal transitions may occur more expeditiously.

    Technical/Functional Expectations:

    1. Application utilization – Essential Function: analyze current system capabilities/processes, to implement content management (CM) modifications to help end-users.
    2. Data Analysis – Essential Function: Synthesize data, create logical reports and factual performance through historical or trend analysis.
    3. Quality Service Standards – Essential Function: Create meaningful relationships with all partners within the System of Care to maintain and improve the delivery of quality services.
    4. Reports Preparation – Essential Function: Collect, analyze, and summarize data within the Integrated Systems to prepare reports for users, and other stakeholders.
    5. Proficient use of Computer Applications – Essential Function: must be able to work with other computer applications throughout the agency to assist in analysis, data collection, and reporting of data to enhance our quality improvement process.
    6. Other duties as required: Job performance requires fulfilling other incidental or related duties as assigned, assisting, and training others, and performing duties of higher rated positions from time to time for developmental purposes.

    4. Valid Driver’s License – Essential: This is required to travel throughout the county and to multiple sites.

    Educational and Experience Requirements:

    1. BA/BS – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
    2. Five years’ experience in child welfare required.
    3. 2-3 years’ experience working with Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN)
    4. 3-5 years Navigating and Using Supplementary data platforms.
