Data Security Director jobs in New Haven, CT

Security Director will manage a team of security officers and will be tasked with ensuring the security staff is committed to providing consistent and professional services. The Security Director will be responsible to mentor, coach and supervise the personnel in the Department as well as be responsible to plan and manage the operations to ensure the safety and security of all staff and residents. 

Responsibilities will includet the following:

• Manage a 24 hour security department  
• Conduct safety audits and inspections.
• Enforce COVID-19 policies and procedures.
• Practice consistent customer services and communication skills
• Ability to handle situations calmly and efficiently
• Be able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds
• Stand or walk for long periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS:   The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or experience required.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience required and prior experience in the security industry, law enforcement and/or military desired;
• Experience with scheduling, operations or other functions of security industry a plus;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software a considerable plus;
• Professional presentation and able to use solid independent judgment and discretion;
• Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player is required.

Additionally, the Security Director will ensure that all operations are in full compliance with the departments standards and all applicable laws and regulations.
