In this vital role the Director, Global Data Access & Platforms defines and executes the data access, platforms, and analytics enablement strategies to simplify and streamline access to the connected data assets that form the bases for insights that will improve patient experience and speed up the commercial decision making process. This leader will act as the key point of contact between US and Global Analytics Directors and Executives, IT Leaders, and cross functional teams, to develop and deliver robust data access solutions and capabilities, including the Customer 360 connected data ecosystem, the Marketing Data Hub that integrates our consumer and HCP digital data, and spearheading the development of our Patient 360 ecosystem, a newly launched capability focused on compliantly connecting our Patient Data Assets to enable richer insights and improved patient engagement and experiences. In addition to partnering with cross functional partners (ie. Analytics functions, forecasting, decision sciences, etc.) to ensure comprehensive access to compliant, high quality, timely data, this position will also develop a team of data specialists that engage with stakeholders across all Commercial Functions, translating business requirements into high quality data deliverables that enrich our connected data assets and provide the foundation for nearly all data related business processes and deliveries for the Commercial teams. Developing the long term, end to end roadmap for Data Access & Platforms capabilities
Driving measurable operational productivity that delivers cost savings, improved cycle times, traceability, and tangible benefit to stakeholders
Managing a multi-million dollar budget
Influencing, negotiating, and building trusting relationships across multiple stakeholder teams within and outside of Commercial
Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of 8 managers and Sr. Managers to deliver high quality, timely, comprehensive, and compliant data access
Monitor industry trends and marketplace to stay ahead of competition, enhancing and evolving capabilities to adapt to changing business needs
Ensure data quality and transparency through comprehensive data stewardship, partnering closely with other data functions (Master Data Management, Patient Data Management, Enterprise Data teams, etc.)
Collaborate closely with IT to evolve and simplify access to complex and evolving data assets, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Analytics teams, Field Excellence, Contracts & Pricing, Medical, etc.)
Comprehensive understanding of end to end Commercial data flows to identify and remediate interdependencies
Accountable for development roadmap for all Commercial onboarding and data integration plans, including but not limited to product launches and mergers and acquisitions
Flexible Commuter role to Thousand Oaks, US Headquarter site. You will work on-site a minimum of 1 days a week.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of analytics and/or reporting experience
Or
Master’s degree and 8 years of analytics and/or reporting experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of analytics and/or reporting experience
And
4 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
Preferred Qualifications:
Drive the succinct communication across stakeholder teams, effectively translating business stakeholder requirements to IT partners to ensure high quality, timely, integrated data assets
Ability to lead and prioritize an aggressive set of deliveries each quarter, driving agile execution and continuous improvement
Demonstrated prioritization, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to conceptualize and translate complex technical issues, processes, procedures or solutions
Wide range of Analytics/Consultative Skillsets and Experience spanning across different data domains, technology solutions, and therapeutic areas
Anticipate business needs and align data access and capability roadmap to deliver value and stay ahead of the pace of business
Strong expertise and experience working with secondary data (IQVIA, MMIT, first party sources such as Field CRM, PSP/SP, Digital, etc.)
Expertise with relevant data, analytics, and technology solutions (AWS/other cloud platforms, Databricks, Tableau, SAS, Python, R, etc.)
Strong Oral, Written presentation skills, with ability to simplify complex concepts verbally or visually via ppt for stakeholders and general audience
Develop and nurture productive collaboration and partnership with cross-functional team
Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Embody Growth mindset to explore and assess different / emerging applications, including and not limited to data and analytics solutions
Strategic leadership strength in developing long term people analytics strategies and objectives; ability to proactively identify gaps and opportunities
Proven track record in identifying, retaining, and developing top talent required to build and sustain a diverse, high performing team
