Data Security Manager manages and guides the maintenance of systems to protect data from unauthorized users. Develops and administers policies and procedures for identifying, reporting, and resolving security violations. Being a Data Security Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Data Security Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Starting Rate: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
The YWCA of Western MA is dedicated to eliminating racism and empowering survivors. The YW provides a safe place for survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and homelessness. Our programs and services include crisis shelter and transitional housing for survivors and their families, 24-hour bilingual hotline, counseling, SAFEPLAN court and medical advocacy, HIV education and intervention, and supervised visitation. The YWCA provides services at several sites, including Holyoke, Northampton, Westfield, and our primary Springfield campus.

The Data and Compliance Manager will work with the director of grants, COO and CEO to oversee the YWCA's data management team. Will oversee all aspects of the data management system, Awards. Responsibilities involved with overseeing Awards include managing and building: users, permission settings, forms, workflows, bulletins, and reports. It also includes on-boarding new programs and ensuring current programs are built into the system effectively, using the software to its fullest capacity. In addition to overseeing Awards, the Data and Compliance Manager will work with program directors to compile and submit reporting required by funders on annual, semi-annual or a quarterly basis. On a larger scale, the Data Manager will work in tandem with agency leadership to tell the story of the YWCA through the collection of reliable data. The story that the data tells is integral to the agency's ability to receive funding.
