Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee operations at our Warehouse/Truck Gate facility. The Security Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, enforcing company policies and procedures, and leading a team of security personnel to ensure the smooth functioning of security operations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate security activities at the Warehouse/Truck Gate facility.
• Monitor access control systems and surveillance equipment to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with company regulations.
• Conduct regular patrols to inspect premises, identify security risks, and take appropriate action to mitigate threats.
• Train, mentor, and motivate security staff to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
• Manage the manifest for truck ingress and egress, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with shipping and receiving schedules.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, and violations, and prepare detailed reports for management review.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other external stakeholders as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident logs, shift reports, and personnel schedules.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and other critical situations, and coordinate appropriate responses.
• Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and support overall business objectives.
• Must comply with all Post Instructions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in security operations, with at least 1 year specifically in truck gate security and 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
• Working knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in security management is a plus.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
