R L Carriers is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Campus Security for our Corporate offices in Wilmington, Ohio. Qualified applicants will be responsible for supporting campus security through supervising on-site security officers, overseeing physical security at multiple properties through patrolling, and supporting the security command center staff. This role will utilize the latest in network video surveillance systems, dedicated patrol vehicles, as well as case management and reporting software to complete their responsibilities. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Conduct patrols of main business campus and other properties
• Coordinate with multiple departments and locations to resolve security related incidents and vulnerabilities
• Work with Security Management in developing best practices in order to provide a safe environment
• Oversee campus security officers
• Utilize case management systems to accurately document incidents/investigations
• Follow interdepartmental processes and procedures in order to respond and prevent incidents 

Skill Requirements:

• Strong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills 
• The ability to self-start, prioritize and multi-task
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and web-based software applications
• Familiarity with video management, access control and case management systems
• The ability to consistently communicate as needed
• Ability to work in both individual and team environments
• Organizational skills 
• Adapt to changing work flows 

Desired Skills: 

• 5 years of campus security or related experience
• 2 years supervisory experience
• Military or Law enforcement background preferred  

Required education:

High school or equivalent
