What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for the overall security of The Great Escape Resort to include outlying properties.
• Responsible for staffing and supervising seasonal security officers.
• Responsible for break scheduling and implementation.
• Supervise the Park’s communications center.
• Implementation of the corporate Security standards programs.
• Responsible for enforcing all resort rules, and procedures.
• Establish/maintain relationships with local police, fire, and rescue organizations.
• Operate in a safe manner.

How You Will Do It

• Supervise, Lead, and Motivate Seasonal Security Team Members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members.
• Follow all delegated tasks assigned.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
• Possess good report writing skills.
• Must be available to work days, nights, and weekends during the operating season.

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads
• For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to actively communicate with large groups of Guests.
• Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State, and facility labor laws and guidelines.
• Must pass a background screening.
• Must have High School Diploma.
• Post High School degree preferred but not required, specializing in Criminal Justice or similar related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must possess and maintain a New York State Security Guard license.
• Experience in Security or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong motivational, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude towards team members of The Great Escape Resort.
• High level of enthusiasm.
