Additionally, Data Steward typically reports to a manager. The Data Steward contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Job Summary
The Data Steward is responsible for determining the fitness of data for use. They are a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assigned accountability for metadata and data quality of business data. This includes the monitoring of the condition of data that includes metrics, KPIs, and business definitions. They are responsible for the day-to-day data management of their data domain.
