For our client, an italian company that specializes in managing and developing retail spaces, we are looking for a passionate Data Scientist, eager to challenge the business-as-usual by applying data-driven methodologies to the business context.

Within the Strategic Marketing Office, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the Digital Transformation program of the company by leveraging the power of data to boost business performances.

Responsibilities

• Address descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analysis leveraging on data science methodologies and programmatic tools
• Manage end-to-end projects from needs assessment, problem framing, data management / data engineering (dataset building and data flow management), data analysis till the interpretation of results.
• The candidate needs to be independent in handling projects of different size, managing the relationship with the client/LOB requesting the activity and all other stakeholders
• Drive from within the Data Strategy Team the evolution of the Data Culture helping the company to be more efficient and productive through a more efficient use of data

Your Profile

• 2 years’ experience in Data Science roles
• Demonstrated experience on applying data-driven methodologies to real world business issues and opportunities
• Mastering statistical modeling and modern Machine Learning algorithms (classification, clustering, forecasting, recommendation)
• Data wrangling and preparation: exploratory data analysis, profiling & cleansing, feature selection, feature engineering (SQL)
• Data Engineering / Data Pipeline (ETL tools)
• Data Analysis (Excel, R, Python)
• Data Visualization tool (Power BI)
• No tools are mandatory, the candidate must show willingness and ability to quickly learn every new tool that can help data activities.
