Data Warehouse Information Security Manager jobs in Appleton, WI

Working closely with the VP-Information Security and the Information Security team, the Manager of Information Security will oversee the implementation, configuration, support, and monitoring of a comprehensive set of security controls and tools as part of the SECURA's Information Security Program. This role is critical in protecting the company's computer systems, networks, and data, and requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in Information Security. 

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Information Security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and professional growth. 
• Work with the Information Security team, business partners and IT stakeholders to minimize security risk while ensuring we can effectively do business.
• Mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and careers. 
• Act as project lead/coordinator for security tools implementations/configurations, coordinating with cross-functional teams both inside and outside of IT.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with IT governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Enterprise Vendor Management and Compliance teams.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, to ensure the company's security policies align with insurance industry best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Leadership experience in managing technical and/or diverse teams. 
• A minimum of five years of experience working in an Information Security capacity or related role.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop team members. 
• Experience in project management, with a track record of successfully implementing complicated projects involving multiple teams. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
• Ability to translate complex security and governance concepts to non-technical audiences. 
• Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality of the company's internal affairs.
