Position Summary: Overallresponsibility is to pull and/or receive product in an accurate manner, loadand unload vehicles, operate warehouse equipment, and keep the work environmentclean and safe.

Accountabilities (not all inclusive)

• Process shippedand received orders. Prepare goods for shipment or storage (i.e., assemble ordisassemble pallets of product). Accurately measure, weigh, and/or countproduct.
• Pull orders;pack, wrap, label, and ship product; load, unload, or stack containers,materials, or product.
• Receive goods;sort incoming donations into appropriate categories according to establishedstandards and procedures.
• Verify incomingand outgoing stock for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity, andquality of orders are correct. Compare shipment and/or received contents torecords.
• Work efficientlyto facilitate the identification, quick retrieval, and dispatch of product(i.e., minimize waste).
• Abide byinventory control procedures.
• Maintain accurateand complete records.
• Operate andmaintain warehouse equipment in a safe and prudent manner (e.g., forklifts,pallet jacks, dock levelers, hand trucks, etc.).
• Adhere to allsafety and security guidelines.
• Maintain a cleanand orderly work area. Remove shrink wrap and tape from dock pallets, wipecases and make presentable, and recommend the removal or transfer of productthat is not picked up.
• Keep the facilityand grounds clean (e.g., yard maintenance, sweeping, pressure washing, etc.).

Qualifications

High school diploma orequivalent. At least two years of experience assisting in the receipt, storage,and issuance of materials from a centralized stockroom or warehouse. Forkliftcertification a plus or experience operating a forklift with willingness toobtain certification.

Theideal candidate will possess many of these professional and personal abilitiesand attributes:

• Ability tooperate standard warehouse equipment including, but not limited to, palletjacks, forklifts, dock levelers, and other materials-handling equipment.
• Able and willingto work in extreme weather conditions and to work within varying indoortemperatures (e.g., freezers, coolers, and buildings that are not temperaturecontrolled)
• Knowledge ofinventory management.
• Strong attentionto detail and accuracy.
• Basic math skillswith the ability to read, comprehend, and followinstructions/procedures.
• Able to work in aphysically-demanding environment which includes lifting and/or moving materialweighing up to 50 pounds frequently, and heavier items occasionally.
• Walk, sit, squat,bend, twist, and reach at various heights above and below shoulder level.
• Basic computerknowledge helpful to complete select reports, electronic timecards, accessemail, etc.
• Ability to workin a results-oriented environment and perform against established performancestandards.
• Able to workovertime as required.

Allowable Substitution:Combination of education, experience, and/or training that provides therequired knowledge and skills for the position may be considered in lieu ofeducation and/or experience at the company’s discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
