Data Warehouse Specialist performs technical administration duties for the development and maintenance of data warehouses. Provides technical support and coordination during warehouse design, testing and movement to production. Being a Data Warehouse Specialist acts as a liaison between engineers, data architects, programmers, and analysts. Implements and enforces standards and procedures to ensure data is managed consistently and properly integrated within the warehouse. Additionally, Data Warehouse Specialist manipulates and combines data from various sources to enlarge and enhance the data warehouse. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Data Warehouse Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Summary: You will perform various tasks, including but not limited to maintaining and operating machinery and searching for potential malfunctions or risks. You will transfer products and equipment, using forklift, scissor lift, personal being, or hand truck. You will also keep the facility clean by removing debris and trash to ensure safety. Note that this position demands stamina and a good physical condition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Read customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment
- Perform heavy lifting as required
- Pull packing lists & necessary paperwork
- Maintain all dock and walkway accessibility, ensuring areas are always ready for subs/deliveries/shipments.
- Check docks multiple times a day for any shipments that may have arrived.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Stock and organize inventory in the warehouse
- Scan products weekly
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Be sure that all trash and recycled appliances are put in proper areas to be taken away.
- Any additional duties assigned/requested by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects of 100 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule:
Hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or 8:30a.m. - 5:00p.m., Monday - Friday. An occasional Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. may be required.
Education and/or Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Forklift certification preferred but not required.
