Provides technical support and coordination during warehouse design, testing and movement to production. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Driver to join our team. The Warehouse/Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, as well as performing various warehouse duties. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate Order Pickers and forklifts.
Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks, vans, and forklifts
- Load and unload goods from trucks using proper lifting techniques
- Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
- Assist with warehouse duties, such as receiving, storing, and organizing inventory
- Operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
- Knowledge of safe lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
Must be able to pass DOJ background, and Preemployment drug screening.
