Data Warehousing Director jobs in Parkersburg, WV

Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs skilled maintenance, repair, electrical and minor construction work to ensure facilities are properly maintained
• Ensure preventative/predictive maintenance is done on equipment, machinery, tools, and facilities/fixtures
• Document maintenance activity to maintain service records for all assets
• Inspect equipment and facilities, to maintain safe and proper operating conditions
• Support engineering projects including coordination with 3rd party contractors
• Submit requests to Management for proper approval and authorization to purchase repair parts, equipment and/or components
• Provide maintenance/repair/improvement recommendations to Management
• Candidate must be well versed in basic safety principles of equipment operating, lock out/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment usage. Follow all safety rules and procedures including required personal safety equipment
• Complete all tasks and assignments as requested by Management
• Participate in scheduled/recurring maintenance meetings to report on progress
• Communicate and collaborate in a positive manner with all employees to accomplish tasks and complete projects
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years’ experience troubleshooting/maintaining equipment in an industrial, warehousing, or manufacturing environment
• Construction and Heavy Equipment Operating background a plus
• Working knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems and HVAC
• Fabrication, welding, and/or hydraulic systems experience a plus
• Experience servicing fork lifts a plus
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
