    About the Position

    Verato is seeking to hire a Technical Product Manager for its Sofware-as-a-Service business with specific experience in healthcare Provider Data Management, specifically focusing on assisting in the product development lifecycle, working with product managers and software developers. This person will be a key member of our Product Management group, which sets the long-term vision for Verato’s Identity products, communicates this vision across various stakeholders within the organization, and ultimately drives the execution of this product vision with our software development team. This role will report into the Senior Product Manager to take the ‘what’ and ‘why’ for a product roadmap and turn it into ‘how’ and own product ownership.

    A successful candidate for the Technical Product Manager for Provider Data Management should possess a strong sense of urgency and agency. They should be proactive and take initiative in their work, demonstrating a drive to get things done efficiently and effectively. The candidate should be able to confidently navigate, identify, and relay use cases that speak to the eccentricities of healthcare data across multiple domains.

    Responsibilities

    This role is expected to act as the Product Owner and will be expected to do the following:

    • Meet with internal stakeholders to gather information about business and technical requirements.
    • Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers.
    • Document and communicate requirements, verifying them for completeness and feasibility.
    • Prioritize release and sprint backlogs to ensure the right balance of product improvements, bug fixes, and technical debt.
    • Ensure software capabilities developed by team meet requirements and business needs, participate in user acceptance testing cycle.
    • Help create materials that support sales, marketing, and customer support.
    • Help create product documentation and release notes for each release.
    • Answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field
    • 2-5 years of related work experience for a commercial software company
    • Strong communication skills - listening, interpersonal, oral and written communication – fluent in both spoken and written English
    • Excellent time management skills for holding teams accountable and ensuring that product deadlines are met
    • Organized with keen attention to detail
    • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis
    • Experience working in a software development organization using agile scrum methodology
    • Experience using backlog management and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
    • Experience with healthcare data, healthcare software applications, or healthcare analytics software preferred
    • Comfortable working with clinical, health insurance, or quality data from various sources across the healthcare continuum
