Torch Technologies, 100% employee-owned company is seeking a skilled Configuration / Data Management Analyst with experience or working knowledge of technology used by the Department of Defense to provide expertise in the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA’s) engineering and testing operations. Implement practices of Management and Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting and Configuration Verification and Audit.
Responsibilities and areas of support include but are not limited to the following:
Configuration Management – Manage the receipts, records, reporting and archiving of all CM baseline products and some data from the customer and external activities. Act as the gatekeeper for distributing all products and some data in support of events, analysis, and external activities.
Data Management – Ensure all data and products move efficiently in support of events and analysis. Practice security procedures while handling data. Ensure data integrity maintained so the product delivered is correct and not corrupted. Maintain multiple user accounts to deliver data to many organizations.
Software Quality Management – Ensure all products and data handled by CM are not corrupted, and the user receives it.
Prepare and present reports, briefings, and white papers.
Participate in and conduct technical meetings and working groups
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 5 years of related experience
Ability to work in a team environment, strong work ethic and proactive in all manners related to the job.
Clear and effective oral and written communications skills
Working knowledge of Linux
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
General understanding of Missile Defense Agency processes and policies
