Data Warehousing Manager manages the daily activities of the team responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of data warehouse systems and projects. Oversees data design and the creation of database architecture and data repositories. Being a Data Warehousing Manager ensures that reporting, modeling, and ETL projects and initiatives are supported fully and run smoothly. Installs processes for auditing data warehouses and ensuring data quality. Additionally, Data Warehousing Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Data Warehousing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Data Warehousing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     JOB DETAILS

    LOCATION:     Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA 

    JOB STATUS:  Full Time

    TRAVEL: TBD

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

    • Must be a US citizen

    • Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance 

    • High School Diploma

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including Publisher, Visio, and Project), Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, plotters/printers, vacuseal machine for mounting posters on foam core, and image scanners

    • Strong knowledge of print processes, Adobe Brackets, HyperText Markup Language and Cascading Style Sheets

    • Basic knowledge of Java Script

    • Basic to intermediate photography skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD.

     RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Generating and evaluating equipment accountability and/or inventory logs and reports
    • Organizing, managing and maintaining status of CDRL items, including receiving and sending CDRL items, recording activity and reporting activity to Government staff
    • Overseeing, performing and reporting versions and staffing for government documents
    • Providing input, maintaining and collaborating on records management plans
    • Performing and reporting records management duties per program office’s records management plans
    • Documenting and delivering file plans
    • Maintaining a variety of electronic files and websites utilizing web-based applications
    • Analyzing and recommending data requirements and specifications
    • Designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases
    • Maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of databases
    • Installing, configuring, and maintaining database management systems software
    • Analyzing and planning for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements
    • Developing and administering data standards, policies, and procedures
    • Developing and implementing data mining and data warehousing programs
    • Evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures
    • Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services
    • Performing Microsoft SharePoint administration duties, responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities—duties may include, but are not limited to:o Configuring SharePoint services and settingso Documenting SharePoint configuration and architectureo Managing site quotas and file size limitso Reviewing and monitoring usage reportso Managing content databases and creating new ones as requiredo Administering and maintaining siteso Managing site layout structure and contento Providing SharePoint support to end users
