The Data Specialist II is an elevated data position that works within the Data and System Integration team that has increased responsibility and demonstrated competency for working within the client data systems including HMIS, DataLink, Clarity, and similar systems. The Data and Systems Integration team aims to support programs across the agency in building, implementing, and maintaining client data systems, streamlining data collection, building data reports, and training staff around data systems, and confidentiality. The team directly oversees the HMIS and DataLink databases, as well as supporting programs with Smartsheet data workflows, the One Agency Hub, and various funder-required data systems. The Data Specialist II is knowledgeable about program workflows and is focused on ensuring those workflows are streamlined and implemented effectively. The Data Specialist II supports database end-users through user account management, technical assistance, monitoring data quality, supporting programs with implementing data processes and workflows. The Data Specialist II will be responsible for curating training materials, recording training videos, and conducting live one-on-one and group trainings. The Data Specialist II supervises data entry volunteers that support the data team. The position will also support agency reporting and database functionality under the direction of the supervisor.
