Database Administration Manager manages the administration of an organization's database. Analyzes the organization's database needs and develops a long-term strategy for data storage. Being a Database Administration Manager establishes policies and procedures related to data security and integrity and monitors and limits database access as needed. Oversees the design, maintenance and implementation of the systems that manage an internal database. Additionally, Database Administration Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Database Administration Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Database Administration Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years RN experience
- Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
- Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services
- Must possess the following personal qualities: Self-directed; Flexible and Committed to the Team Concept; Demonstrate Teamwork; Initiative, and Willingness to Learn; Be Open to New Learning Experiences, Accepts and Respects Diversity without Judgment; Demonstrates Customer Service Values
LICENSURES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current RN License in the State of Michigan
- BCLS/ACLS per Unit Standard
- Certifications appropriate for Specific Unit
