The Fundraising Database and Operations Manager (also known as: Resource Development Operations Manager) is responsible for the daily management of all facets of the fundraising program operations. This position requires independent work and leadership in generating reports, overseeing the data system and coordinating fundraising activities in collaboration with Finance and Marketing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Three - five years of management and administrative experience with an emphasis on database management
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software
- Previous charitable operations experience
- Strong administrative skills with an emphasis on database management
- Proven organization, multitasking and project management skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide operational support to the ORD program working in tandem with the VPRD of ORD.
- Coordinate and oversee core gift management activities provided by Finance including gift entry and acknowledgements, gift tracking and reports.
- Manage database functions for the team and ensures database integrity.
- Manage the organization’s scholarship program.
- In coordination with VPRD, develops an annual calendar and then oversees development and distribution of marketing materials in coordination with Marketing.
- Serve as on-site team member for events in coordination w/ Director of Special Events, incorporate participants information in database.
- Ability to travel from time to time across the PSL service areas.
- Coordinate event committees with ORD Director of Special Events, Communications.
- Work and coordinate closely with other members of the ORD team to create a comprehensive service program that provides substantial support to PSL.
- Help build donor database and maintain donor record updates as applicable. Mine the data to identify new prospects.
- Prepare annual report donor lists, newsletter mailing lists, annual appeal mailing lists, and other information and reports, as assigned.
- Manage all administrative tasks including review of materials, process invoices, serves as primary contact for calls and donor inquiries, maintains files and GiftWrap/CGA activities.
