    BAE Systems, Inc. employees and sub-contractors aligned to the Air Force Solutions--Strategic Systems Directorate support the United States Air Force (USAF) Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System Directorate as it sustains the existing Minuteman III (MM III) weapon system and acquires its replacement, the Sentinel missile. BAE Systems is looking for qualified professionals to join our team for an exciting opportunity supporting sustainment and modernization efforts for the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system. The Minuteman III is a 1970s era weapon system and is scheduled to be retained as the United States military's prompt, global strike deterrent system until at least 2030.     The IMDS Database Manager duties include:
    • Using Major Command implementing instructions, AFCSM 21-series manuals, and applicable technical orders to validate, review, correct and manage work orders entered into the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS)
    • Perform predictive, regression, correlation, and trend analysis, using appropriate software and directives
    • Calculate maintenance metrics and compare unit performance against MAJCOM and locally developed goals
    • Publish and provide to local management, an accurate monthly maintenance summary
    • Provide IMDS support to the Maintenance Group and applicable tenant units
    • Set up initial IMDS profiles when issuing user IDs, and make adjustments as required


    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Minimum of 10 years of Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Maintenance experience with missile maintenance field experience or 10 years of Maintenance Management Production experience with extensive knowledge of ICBM Maintenance operations
    • Detail oriented, with excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and balance competing priorities in an effective manner. Strong interpersonal skills; works well with others, and responds well to direction
    • Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels throughout the Missile Wing and Command
    • Must possess strong IMDS
    • Ability to interpret/apply Major Command implementing instructions and associated technical orders
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Security Clearance


    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Community College Air Force (CCAF) Degree in one of the following: Missile Maintenance Technology, Space and Missile Maintenance Technology, Electronic Systems Technology, or Mechanical and Electrical Technology degree, Computer programming experience highly desired, Data Integrity Team experience highly desired

    Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
