Under general direction on assignments from KCPC Senior System Administrator, provides support services to enterprise information technology. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. A minimum of 4 years' experience in support of network and server systems. Thorough knowledge of networking, computer systems installation and operation; trouble-shooting for system hardware, software, and related equipment. Competent to handle complex problems concerning systems operations. Requires strong knowledge of server and desktop processing/operating systems that enables them to work at the highest level of all computer operations phases. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to communicate instructions to end-users relating to equipment and software operation.
