The role of the Database/IAM administrator is to manage the Microsoft SQL Environment and function as a key technical resource for Identity and Access Management at UNCW. This individual will also participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the UNCW MSSQL and IAM environments are consistent with university goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

This includes the infrastructure supporting advanced research computing, distance education, and other academic initiatives. Network Communications including telecommunications, networking infrastructure, both wired and wireless, firewalls, and VoIP.
