Job Description:

SUMMARY

The responsibility of the Database Admin is to support Three Rivers Casino and Resort (TRCR) in its efforts to leverage customer information to drive more informed business decisions and will utilize strong analytical, quantitative and research skills to support TRCR’s consumer and online marketing function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deploys, maintains, manages, troubleshoots and tunes all enterprise database systems, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
• Works closely with the Director of MIS to analyze and make recommendations concerning database systems under consideration for deployment on the network.
• Responsible for client/server operational documentation of enterprise database systems.
• Documents all maintenance actions, processes changes, configuration modifications, and troubleshooting procedures conducted on enterprise databases.
• Coordinates efforts with various vendors to resolve data integrity or corruption issues, and tune database for efficient operation.
• Oversees the performance of applications to ensure they are always running properly.
• Tests and debugs .net software to run according to specifications.
• Implements and maintains database replication.
• Follows ITIL standards.
• Loads and updates software applications as required.
• Receives, prioritizes and responds to support calls for problems resolution and documentation.
• Provides training as necessary.
• Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
• Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.
