Smoothstack is currently recruiting for a Database/System Administrator for a hybrid, contract role in New Britain, CT. This position will support a project with the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) Nutrition and School Meals (NSM) office recent awarding of 4.7 million dollars in IT
Capital Funds. Over the next year, the NSM will focus on continued implementation of the Titan
platform with an added automation in equipment preventative maintenance program.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience to be considered:

• 10 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a school or educational agency, managing school nutrition data applications, and automated processes.
• Experience as a DBA with Applications experience as you will be responsible for data migration, data
  cleanup, data reporting, as well as managing and maintaining the hardwired lines and wireless
  connections in a system and the hardware that hooks up to that system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Access
• Data migration and data cleanup
• Research and development
• Experience with Fixed Asset System Integrations and Testing/Piloting operations
• Grading user interface reports
• API connections
• Creating QR codes
• Tracking, installing, and configuring software updates and performing database backups
  to restore and protect user information
• Installing hardware and software for the network
